Leadership skills

I have acquired good leadership and management mainly as a judge of the General Court of the EU. I also trained my management skills as an assistant to the directors of the Maastricht Centre for European Law. Together with the directors, prof. dr. Bruno de Witte and prof. dr. Ellen Vos, I was in charge of leading the centre, hiring and management of student trainees and the organisation of their work. Moreover, my academic work allowed me to acquire excellent organisational skills through organisation of numerous seminars, conferences, guest lectures and several successful applications for financing of conferences. In the academic year 2020/21, I was appointed Academic Director of the new master programme Advanced Master in Privacy, Cybersecurity, Data Management and Leadership, run by the Maastricht European Centre on Privacy and Cybersecurity. As an Associate Editor of the European Data Protection Law Review, I also manage the case-note section.
